Six hours between flights, minus immigration and the drive each way, leaves you roughly three usable hours in the city. This is the version that works: everything is on the same stretch of the Corniche, so you're never doubling back. Once you've seen the museums, the reason to come back to Qatar is the desert. Two days is enough for the classic version: dune driving down to the Inland Sea, a night under canvas, and the strange eroded landscape out at Zekreet on the way home.

Ramadan Evenings in Doha

Ramadan flips Doha's clock. Daytime is quiet and many places are closed or shortened; the city comes alive after the sunset call to prayer. This is a single evening built around that rhythm — a cultural stop before iftar, the meal itself, then the souq at its liveliest near midnight. Dress modestly, and don't eat or drink in public before sunset.
