FreeFreeHidden GemEditor's PickQatar National Library Heritage Library Tour
Beyond the cascading white shelves everyone photographs, Qatar National Library runs free guided tours of its Heritage Library, a collection of rare manuscripts, antiquarian books dating to the 1400s, and early Arabic printed newspapers and journals. The tour is led by the library's own Tour and Exhibition Officer, who walks through eight distinct collections and their place in regional history, and it must be booked in advance through the library's website. It's a genuinely under-visited stop for anyone into books, history, or just architecture.
