Al Ahmed Street, next to Souq Waqif, holds three linked textile and clothing markets: Souq Al-Deira for silk, embroidery, and cashmere pashminas with on-site tailors; Souq Al Asiery for abayas, thobes, and made-to-order tailoring; and Souq Al Jabor at the street's end. Shops run the standard split-shift Doha retail day, closing at midday and reopening in the late afternoon.
