Sheikh Faisal Museum & Al Samriya Farm

Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani's private museum at Al Samriya Farm, about 30 minutes west of Doha, houses everything from Islamic art to vintage American cars alongside a genuine working farm, an oryx reserve dedicated to Qatar's national animal, and a riding school. Camel races run most Friday and Saturday mornings from November through February on the adjoining track, now largely raced by remote-controlled robot jockeys rather than child riders. Entry is QAR 50 per adult with children free, and the museum is open Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday.
