Getting to the Riviera Brunch is half the experience — a complimentary boat crossing from the Corniche's Al Shyoukh terminal drops you onto Banana Island, where Riva runs its Friday spread from 1pm to 4pm. It's Italian-led rather than the usual sprawling international buffet, and the setting does the rest: private beach, resort pools, and none of the West Bay traffic on the way home.
