Katara Mosque ("Blue Mosque")
Designed by Turkish designer Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu, it's one of the most photographed buildings in Katara for good reason — the tilework is genuinely intricate up close, some of it gilded in real gold leaf. Respectful dress is expected, as at any working mosque.
