National Museum of Qatar
October 26, 2026 – February 13, 2027
One of Italy's best-known contemporary sculptors, Giuseppe Penone, transforms the Baraha and Old Palace at the National Museum of Qatar with works from 1969 to today in wood, iron, bronze, clay and marble, centred on the link between natural and artistic processes. A new public sculpture, Idee di Pietra, is installed at the Doha Old Port alongside the show. Qatar Museums says entry to the exhibition is free with museum admission, and tickets can be reserved online ahead of your visit. The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
