Atharna 2026: Life and Death in Pre-Islamic Qatar

The second Atharna, Qatar Museums' annual archaeology exhibition series, starts outdoors with a reconstructed burial mound and an archaeology tent introducing excavation methods and recent fieldwork. Inside, an immersive space shows weapons, jewellery and other artefacts recovered from burial mounds across the country, with hands-on family activities during the run. It sits alongside Wooden Doors of Qatar and Beyti Beytak at Fahad bin Ali Palace in Msheireb, which is closed on Mondays; the page shows ticket booking but not prices.
