Sealine Sand Dunes

Sealine's dunes sit on the coast near Mesaieed, about an hour south of Doha, where towering sand ridges meet the turquoise water in a way you don't get at the Inland Sea further out. It's the base most operators use for dune bashing, sandboarding and camel rides, and independent visitors with a 4x4 can drive out and watch the sunset from the ridgeline for free. Go in the late afternoon in cooler months to avoid the worst of the heat and the softest, safest sand conditions.

Open desert parking on hard-packed sand near the beach access point; a 4x4 is strongly recommended for the dunes themselves.
No facilities on-site; bring water, sun protection and a vehicle with off-road capability, or book a guided operator instead of self-driving.
