Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque

Opened in 2011, the mosque was renamed for the 18th-century theologian and reformer Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, whose teachings underpin Qatar's official religious institutions. Its footprint holds 93 domes and a single minaret rising above a prayer hall built to accommodate roughly 30,000 worshippers, making it the largest mosque in the country and the national site for major state religious observances.
