Al Koot Fort
Built in 1880 as a police post and later used as a jail, the fort's square layout with its mismatched round-and-rectangular towers now houses displays of traditional Qatari fishing gear and handicrafts. Easy to fold into a Souq Waqif afternoon rather than a dedicated trip.
