Al Jassasiya Rock Art Site

Nearly 900 carvings have been cataloged across this site — dhow boats, fish, rosettes, and cup marks that some researchers link to pearl storage or ancient board games. Dating is genuinely disputed among archaeologists, which somehow makes it more interesting to stand in front of, not less.
