This is one of the more substantial loan exhibitions Doha has hosted in a while — 140 objects on loan from 13 Uzbek museums, tracing the country's Islamic-era history from the eve of the Arab conquest of Central Asia right up to the present day. It runs nearly three months at MIA's Sheikh Saoud Al Thani gallery, so there's no rush to catch it, and entrance is free with regular museum admission.
