Qatar National Convention Centre, Auditorium 3
Mozart Concertante Symphony
November 20
Conductor Felix Mildenberger, a former assistant to Sir Simon Rattle, leads the QPO in an evening that puts the orchestra's own principals out front: oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn share the solo parts in Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante. Mendelssohn bookends it, opening with the Hebrides Overture and closing with the First Symphony he wrote at fifteen. 7:30pm start in QNCC's Auditorium 3; tickets are online-only and in advance, under-6s aren't admitted, and smart-casual dress is expected.
