Oru Madrasi Kalyanam — South Indian Fake Wedding

Desiwibes stages a mock South Indian wedding that goes off the rails, mixing Malabari, Kerala and Tamil wedding traditions with a club night. There's a live nadaswaram and thavil wedding band, wedding-style decor and a photo booth, and the DJs take over the "kalyana mandapam" (wedding hall). Tamil rapper JQueen headlines, on her first GCC appearance, alongside DJ Alexie, DJ Karthik, DJ Arif and the Masala Frequency band (Shabin & Shabith). It's at Infinity Club on the 7th floor of the Strato Hotel, Old Airport Street. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 8pm; every ticket holder must be inside by 8pm, after which tickets are no longer valid. Ages 18 and over. Ticket prices aren't shown on the listing, so check the Q-Tickets page.
