Food Qatar is built for the trade side of the industry — importers, distributors, restaurant and hotel buyers — rather than a public food festival, so it suits visitors working in F&B more than anyone after a day of sampling. Halls run the length of DECC with country pavilions and product launches through all three days. Visitor registration is mandatory: register online through the organiser's "Register to Visit" page before you go.
