The National Museum of Qatar turns its STEAMLab and other spaces into a weekend lab for families: 90-minute timed sessions of experiments, building challenges and creative tasks for children up to 16 and the adults with them, run in English and Arabic. Weekdays are kept for school groups, so public sessions run on Fridays (1:30pm and 4pm) and Saturdays (9:30am, 12pm and 2:30pm), with last entry 30 minutes before a session ends. Tickets are required; book a session on Qatar Museums' festival ticketing page (prices aren't shown on the event page). The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
