Asfary Hot Air Balloon

Asfary's sunrise balloon flights launch from one of around five desert sites near Doha and drift wherever the wind takes them for about 45 minutes, with transport back to the starting point included afterwards since you land somewhere different each time. It's an untethered, weather-dependent flight rather than a fixed platform ride, so trips are only offered November through March when conditions are calm enough. Karak, water and a sandwich are handed out on landing, which is a nice small touch after an early wake-up call.
