During Ramadan, Souq Waqif shifts to a night-first rhythm — most shops and food stalls open after sunset and stay busy well past midnight. It's a genuinely different atmosphere from a daytime visit: lantern-lit lanes, live traditional music, and desserts and drinks specific to the month.
