Desert Nights Stargazing Festival

A seasonal gathering out past the Inland Sea road where the light pollution drops away and the sky actually shows up. Expect a run of astronomer-led telescope stations, a fire-lit majlis for live oud sets, and a food row of Qatari and Gulf street food. Cooler desert nights make this one of the few times camping out here is genuinely comfortable rather than an endurance test.
